Carbon dioxide (CO2) is a colorless and odorless gas. It is about 1.5 times heavier than air and is contained in the air we breathe. It is popularly called carbonic acid and it is used for many other applications. The extinguishing effect of carbon dioxide is based on the sticking effect.
After extinguishing, carbon dioxide leaves no extinguishing agent residues, it evaporates completely without leaving any residues.
Capacity: 5 kg carbon dioxide
Dimensions H x W x D ca. mm: 670 x 300 x 170
Weight ca. kg: 13,9
Throw range ca. m: 4
Discharge time ca. Sek.: 14
Operating temp. °C: -30 to +60
- High-quality hose line
- Tension band for wall mounting
Nickel-plated brass fittings, the handle and the pressure lever are made of powder-coated steel.
The extinguishing agent container made of aluminium alloy is provided with a very high quality, resistant polyester resin coating that reliably protects the container against corrosion. Inside, the extinguishing agent cylinder is protected from corrosion by a thermoplastic polymer inner coating.
The label is applied using a modern, high-quality screen printing process. The operating screen of the fire extinguisher is printed in two languages, German / English. Large, easy-to-interpret pictograms enable the fire extinguisher to be operated quickly and easily. The warning notices are printed inverted for better perception.
The connection thread of the nozzle is cast into the plastic mold during production. This achieves a high level of stability compared to multi-part fog funnels. The plastic used is particularly break-proof even at low temperatures.
The high-pressure hose is extremely stable, yet remains flexible at low temperatures (when in use). The extra-long snow tube gives the user even more distance from the source of the fire.
