Foam fire extinguishers

DÖKA foam fire extinguishers can effectively extinguish both solid and liquid fires. In the case of solid fires, this is achieved through cooling and wetting effects. For liquid fires, a rapidly spreading film creates an airtight seal over the surface, thereby smothering the fire and providing a high level of protection against potential re-ignition. Unlike powder extinguishers, foam extinguishers leave behind minimal residue after use. Foam fire extinguishers are available as cartridge-operated units with three different valve configurations, as well as standard stored-pressure units.
