SK6CS ECO, SK9CS ECO - Fluorine free foam in concentrate cartridge
The push button valve of the DÖKA CS series are made of fiberglass-reinforced composite materials. Metal inlets strengthen the fitting. The union nut is made of brass. The pressure resistance of the valve body far exceeds the values required by the standard.
The control elements of the CS series, such as the strike button, safety device and handle, are designed in such a way that the fire extinguisher can also be operated with gloves without any problems. The rotating extinguishing pistol rounds off the perfect handling.
The DÖKA cartridge operated foam fire extinguishers of the CS-series with internal propellant cartridge. The fire extinguisher is only put under operating pressure after pulling the securing and depressing the push button when it is in use. This ensures a high level of operational reliability, saves material and minimizes maintenance costs.
Fluorine-free foam in concentrate cartridge
In foam cartridge fire extinguishers, the foam concentrate is separated from the water; it is stored in a cartridge. The foam concentrate and water are therefore not mixed until the propellant gas cylinder is opened in the event of use.
By storing the foam concentrate in the cartridge, it does not come into contact with the other extinguishing liquid. This results in a considerably longer shelf life of the extinguishing agent and consistent extinguishing performance over the period of use. The foam additives of the latest generation in our foam cartridge fire extinguishers contain no fluorine and are used only in very small quantities.

The fire extinguishing agent foam is produced from a water/foaming agent mixture by admixing air. For fires of solid materials (fire class A), the high wetting effect combined with the interruption of the gas exchange and the cooling effect are the main reasons for the excellent extinguishing properties. Foam extinguishing agents act by covering the entire surface of flammable liquids with a vapor-tight foam blanket, which prevents oxygen from entering (sticking effect) and cools the surface (cooling effect).

Why fluorine-free foam?
There are plans to completely ban fluorine in fire extinguishing agents or to place their use under heavy regulation. The exact wording of the ECHA (European Chemicals Agency) remains to be seen. It is also not yet clear when this ban will be implemented and what the transitional periods will be.
The SK6CS ECO and SK9CS ECO, with the latest generation of foam extinguishing agents, already do not contain any harmful fluorine and thus meet the upcoming requirements for a clean environment.

The cap nut, like the base plate, is made of nickel-plated brass. It is equipped with pressure relief grooves through which the possibly pressurized extinguishing agent container can be safely depressurized by an expert. There are four cams on the nut for easy opening of the fire extinguisher, for safe, ergonomic use of the tool during service.
The extinguishing agent cylinder made of high-quality sheet steel is provided with a very high quality, resistant polyester resin coating that reliably protects the cylinder against corrosion.
The label is applied using a modern, high-quality screen printing process. The operating screen of the fire extinguisher is printed in two languages, German / English. Large, easy-to-interpret pictograms enable the fire extinguisher to be operated quickly and easily. The warning notices are printed inverted for better perception.
A footring made of impact-resistant HD-PE is used to protect the bottom of the Cylinder and for improved stability. The foot ring is simply placed on the cylinder and can be removed non-destructively for service purposes. A holder for the hose line is integrated in the stand ring and ensures that the fire extinguisher looks attractive.
The high-quality hose is made of durable EPDM synthetic rubber material. Fabric inserts increase the stability and pressure resistance of the hose line. A nickel-plated brass grommet is used for the hose connection to the fitting, which is firmly pressed to the hose line.
Flexible even in the cold - the hose is still flexible even in extreme cold and does not break.
The extinguishing pistol can be freely rotated 360 degrees, which means much more comfort and safety for the user. The large lever enables very good extinguishing agent dosing. The extinguishing pistol has a patented safety valve effect - if the pressure is too high, the pistol opens automatically, which means that the pistol cannot burst.
