The DÖKA cartridge operated fire extinguishers of the BS series are equipped with a high-quality push button valve and cap nut made of nickel-plated brass. In addition to the standard, the BS series is also equipped with an additional pressure relief valve with a brass body, which protects the cylinder from excess pressure. The generous dimensioning of the safety device and strike button enables the fire extinguisher to be operated with gloves. The ergonomic handle with finger recesses and slip protection offers excellent carrying comfort. The rotating extinguishing pistol enables optimal control of the extinguishing agent jet and the operation of the fire extinguisher with just one hand.

The DÖKA cartridge operated powder fire extinguishers of the BS-series with internal propellant cartridge. The fire extinguisher is only put under operating pressure after pulling the securing and depressing the push button when it is in use. This ensures a high level of operational reliability, saves material and minimizes maintenance costs.
ABC dry powder
DÖKA fire extinguishers with ABC extinguishing powder (ember fire powder) are versatile and superior to other extinguishing agents in their extinguishing effect on standard objects. The extinguishing effect takes place suddenly. Special barrier effects prevent re-ignition in solid fires, e.g. B. wood. The extinguishing powder cloud unfolds over a large area and protects against smoke and radiant heat.
The extinguishing powder used in DÖKA powder fire extinguishers impresses with an excellent extinguishing effect on fires of fire classes ABC.
ABC extinguishing powder is electrically non-conductive, so it can also be used in electrical systems in accordance with VDE 0132. It is environmentally friendly and can be recycled into fertilizer after its useful life.

Quality features
The body of the push button valve is made of nickel-plated brass. All other components such as hose, riser pipe, blow pipe and propellant gas cartridge are mounted on the base body. Nickel-plated brass is significantly more resistant to extinguishing media and environmental influences and therefore more durable than plastic fittings. For this reason we only offer certain device versions in the BS series, such as frost-proof water and foam extinguishers. We also offer fire extinguishers with MED approval, i.e. for use on ships, only in the BS series.
