Composite valve and universal handle
The valves of the DS-series are made of glass fiber reinforced composite materials. Metal inlets additionally reinforce the fitting. The cap nut is made of brass. The new design of this series of valves enables the fire extinguishers to have a lower overall height. Thanks to the extra large, ergonomic handle, the fire extinguisher can be easily carried over a long period of time. A non-rotating safety device enables the fire extinguisher to be operated even faster and also has a rotating extinguishing pistol.
The DÖKA cartridge operated powder fire extinguishers of the DS-series with internal propellant cartridge. The fire extinguisher is only put under operating pressure after pulling the securing and depressing the push button when it is in use. This ensures a high level of operational reliability, saves material and minimizes maintenance costs.
ABC dry powder
DÖKA fire extinguishers with ABC extinguishing powder (ember fire powder) are versatile and superior to other extinguishing agents in their extinguishing effect on standard objects. The extinguishing effect takes place suddenly. Special barrier effects prevent re-ignition in solid fires, e.g. B. wood. The extinguishing powder cloud unfolds over a large area and protects against smoke and radiant heat.
The extinguishing powder used in DÖKA powder fire extinguishers impresses with an excellent extinguishing effect on fires of fire classes ABC.
ABC extinguishing powder is electrically non-conductive, so it can also be used in electrical systems in accordance with VDE 0132. It is environmentally friendly and can be recycled into fertilizer after its useful life.
